On his first walk in Vienna in September 2011, Carlos von den Hügeln preferred the path around the Augarten instead of going into it. This detour led him to the square Gaußplatz, which was redesigned in 1996 by designer and architect Andreas Brandolini, an old acquaintance of Carlos von den Hügeln from Saarbrücken.
